Rather city win it. No one cares if they win it, doesn’t really mean much. Arsenal winning it means we get an annoying smug arteta claiming the underdogs did it despite outspending every other football team in the land in the period he’s been in charge.

Spurs play all three. I fully expect them to go full Spursy against both City and Arsenal but fight tooth and nail against us.
I think Arsenal will better City, their attack is flying currently and City can be got at. They also have the easiest run in.

Don't really want either of the other two to win it but I feel that circumstances favour both of them above us. Might change my mind on that depending on where we are if/when we get near enough a full squad back.

Anyway, it's not often we have a genuine three-horse race for the title at this stage, so that at least is good for the league.

look, everyone wants us to win it if the post here.

I'd rather an asteroid his the planet than city win another treble but thats where we are headed. If arsenal stop an ateroid hitting the planet I'd put up with arteta's smug face but On the balance of probability arsenal have more chance to stopping an asteroid with no more than a stern glare than they do of winning this.

people always seem to forget to rate the opponents. yes arsenal are having a fine run. great.

We beat them in the cup
They beat a very poor palace side 5-0.
they beat a very poor forest side 1-2 at thier ground.
they beat us fair and square (we have no salah, and gravenberch was selected (prob the error that cost us tbh)
they beat a west ham side with a lot of injuries and poor form 6-0 away
they beat burnely 5-0 so what?
The lost to porto. utter madness.
they beat a depleted and spend newcastle that are going nowhere 4-1
    they beat sheff utd 6-0

all great result, all free flowing goals after stuttering in front of goals before. but again, it palace, forest, west ham, burnely, newcastle and sheff utd. in other words games they are fully expect to win and have to win.

They lost to us in the cup, they then beat us in the league and went and lost v porto away.

Id not be getting too carried away right now with their chances v city (forget us)

None of the sides have many real big clashes left.

    Arsenal have
    city (A)
Chelsea (h) sometime (even then i struggle to think this lot are a challenge)
    Villa (H)
    spurs (A)
    man utd (A)

    3 away games in it.

Id not even put brighton or wolves in that bucket.

    City have
    LFC (A)
    Arsenal (h)
    Villa (H)
    Spurs (a)

only 2 away games. nobody else will probably beat or draw with city in a title race.

    We have
    City (H)
    utd (a)
    Spurs (h)
    villa (a)

the rest are as equal a challenge as an others the rest have.

I can see this being tooth and nail fight to the end but because most every game is an easy win.

I don't see villa as a particularly serious challenge to the other 2. I think they will be harder at villa park for us.

Having spurs at home will be crucial for us.

Man utd will park a bus against both us and arsenal.

City are bull dozing through, fully fit and well able to go.
We are battling through and getting players fit after playing some more games and have i hope a full european camping to come
Arsenal have got over their bad patch and have had it east for a few weeks. The vital one imo is them beating proto well at home and going forward. if they do i can see them not cracking too much.

The biggest single thing is who will defend best not who will score 20 off **** lower half teams. City are doing well, arsenal have improved a bit. We are conceding a few too many against the top half.

If they don't win those two games they could be 5-7 points down with 9 games remaining. Sure they'd still be in it and I wouldn't write them off... But absolutely they would not be favourites anymore at that point.

They'd still be favourites with the bookies if they were 7 points behind with 3 to play.

it's now proper run in time

10 wins and nothing less than 10 wind required.

no more league games until most of squad is back.

Jones and trent for sure..konate not a major issue.

alisson and Jota to follow at some point shortly thereafter.

    I called it.

He was a huge coward but he did book rodri which is unheard of.

He was always going to bottle giving a last min pen and was never sending off ederson even though he clearly made zero attempt to get the ball.
