He did say 3 years, 14 games into his third year isn’t much of a chance to see where we end up at the end of this season under him.
If we keep the same management team, ie JL and BT I think we are F****d, incompetent the pair of them. LM might be a good manager in the future, I’m just fed up with manager’s learning their trade at our expense
He set the foundations, needed investment to try to push on. Instead we have another rooky manager trusted with the reins.
Kieran McKenna full of praise for Bristol City and Liam Manning as he reveals secrets to success Ipswich Town had to dig into all their reserves to secure a 3-2 victory over Bristol City https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/mckenna-bristol-city-liam-manning-9148364
As Kieran says it’s small margins. It’s ridiculous to think we will just go out bring another manager in and make things rosy!! Imo it’s madness.
Easy to compliment a former Ipswich employee when you've just got out of jail in the last 10minutes of a tight game. Madness to talk about a new manager for us, nevertheless he/they have to step up.......its a result business and I think we need another 10 points to stay in the Championship this season.
I didn’t want Nige to go - I didn’t really like his football but I respected him and was happy to give him more time. I don’t want Liam to go now. Despite poor results there are some glimmers of a decent side in there. If we do drop into the relegation zone then I’ll change my mind, but for now I think it’s crazy to change - and you know who would be in charge of the recruitment of any potential successor don’t you?…..
I used to always think that when LJ was in charge, where ever we were in the league. Win a game and that was 3 points towards keeping us in the championship.. kick on once safe.. LM needs wins/points.. even if it’s ugly!!
