I have a feeling we'll play well and it'll be a good game. But no idea what the actual result will be.
Not surprised or particularly disappointed to see Willock and Dykes are not starting, and hoping it will lead to more direct attacking play...playing up to Frey with Smyth/Chair playing off him. Armstrong on to cause havoc once they are tiring in the second half. Come on Rangers!
Willock, Armstrong and Dykes all on bench, mmmm. Think we need some more height in the team especially at set pieces. Hoping we can be in the game with half an hour to go, cos those 3 coming on could certainly swing the game in our favour . Swift and Weimann on the bench for them but Wallace and Diangana both starting. Nervous now, we really need another win. Come on u rrrrr'ssss , let's batter these maggots
The difference in mood is palpable. A few weeks ago, we were still trying to work out if this team was half decent, as per early last season, or league one at best, as per Stoke away and all of Ainsworth’s reign. I’ve felt mostly, that this group of players is good enough to be competitive and the recent signings have improved us, as has the fitness of JCS, the return to form of Willock, our new right back supreme, Chairs ability to play well with the potential of jail time ahead etc. I’m not necessarily confident of a win tonight, but I’m confident that we have a team who like each other and like playing for Cifuentes and that’s a massive and important improvement over recent months. Well up for it, COME ON YOU SOOOOOOPER….
