Spoke to an officer outside and they wanted to emphasise while they couldn’t confirm it for sure as it’s the fire and clubs Health and Safety ultimately responsible, they’re hearing it’s off. I also saw a bunch of, I assume, stewards in orange Saints high vis leaving the area in their cars.
Poor Preston fans. No idea of the clubs finances but would be nice if they laid on free travel to the rearranged game.
Perhaps the Preston fans could take this opportunity to visit one or two Southampton night spots. They've got a better chance of scoring there

Somewhat surprisingly, I'm really not fussed at it being called - and the likely fixture congestion it could cause. But I don't know if that's because (a) I've got an early start tomorrow, (b) I like the thought of playing them once KWP and Fraser are back, or (c) I can't see us getting automatic promotion and so the result of this match really isn't very relevant to us. It's probably a mixture of all three.
