Please not this again. Unless there is a complete change in direction.i can,t see this happening . Can't see Roy and Speakman getting along somehow, something will have to give.

I loved Roy first time around but he would be a car crash in this era, imo of course

Wouldn't be the biggest shock ever if it was Keane. Sounds like it was fairly close to happening that time he was virtually saying goodbye to the pundits on tv. Seems like it fell through because he didn't like the terms of the contract, that's what he hinted at anyway.

It was quite widely reported that he wasn't particularly involved in training during his original spell with us. Not turning up until the Thursday before a game. That suggests that actual coaching wasn't his thing back then and wouldn't work in the current set up.

Wasn't being questioned on his commitment because of this one of the reasons he ****ed off the first time!

If it is true about turning up on a Thursday etc... makes him a bit of a hypocrite in terms of calling out players commitment to training imo.

It would suddenly be 'all about Keane' in the media, I'm out.

There’s no chance unless the bloke has full control of the squad and possible signings. Imagine him and Speakman man, Keane would have twatted him within a week.

Yeah, he left us with a mess to sort out last time ...

... we'd have John O'Shea replacing O'Nien before the QPR match.

Ole would be fantastic. Keane as an assistant would be a dream.

And that's not nostalgia. Ole has worked at the highest level. Yeah Cardiff was poo, but can't judge too much on 1 gig.
