Prediction League Season 2023-24

Firstly, why didn't anyone tell me I'd been systematically spelling "Bromwich" incorrectly since the first round of matches?

Secondly, I've only just thought of this: Joe and Musty can copy and paste and just stick their scores in the middle to minimise typing.

I'll do that every round from now on but can't produce it until I've done the results from the previous round and rolled the model over for the next one. The timing of that depends on what else I've got on..

There were some weird results and low scores, of which mine is one, but others did very well. Even on a weird day, SMH got the results of seven out of the twelve games right, including Preston v Hull spot-on. The Super Match delivered 6 points for Lyndhurst and Musty but Joe added his joker to get the maximum of 12 points. The majority thought they'd played safe with jokers on Leicester only to suffer from the biggest upset of the day.



Not much change at the top but Lyndhurst and SMH caught the top three up again. From memory, Lyndhurst started the season badly but has kept up steady progress in recent months whilst I think SMH missed some fixtures so his solid 4th is a testament on how well he's done the rest of the time.

There is I'm afraid another full round spread over Tuesday and Wednesday. The Super Match will be QPR v West Brom.
