    Tufan
    Greaves
    Giles

I thought Giles could have been MotM if he’d just been a bit braver and kept running then shot. Several times he got himself into great positions then passed when he didn’t need to.

The midfield was weaker today. Seri looked tired, and we seemed to do better with the three of them in there against Preston.

Once Tufan went off and we lost his pressing, our performance nose-dived.

At the moment, our star players are failing to shine.

Omur and Tufan justified their selection

I agree with someone who posted earlier. Carvallo is very wasteful with the ball.

Another 2 points thrown away and could prove costly. How did the ref give no foul on Zaroury and say it was "Shoulder to Shoulder" and then give a foul against Ohio for the same thing a few minutes later?

    Omur, technically good and positive
    Greaves, again!

That kind of thing really does my head in. It wasn't a surprise at all, because football has had that two-tier refereeing standard for attackers and defenders for as long as I can remember, but it's a really **** thing about the game.

I can never understand why football is always looking for the next overly complex new rule to mess about with, but there's never a meaningful improvement on some of the obviously unfair things in football, like how defenders can get away with far more than attackers can in certain areas, and how so much obvious gamesmanship is tolerated. For example, how many times did they kick the ball away on our free kicks last night, with multiple City players gesturing at the ref to say "Are you not gonna book him for that?". There was supposed to be a crackdown on that for this season, zero tolerance. And for the first few games it was. But as with all these crackdowns they seem to quickly lose interest in it and then give up altogether within a few months and we're back to square one.

No striker, so, sadly, probably won't win enough games to get in the play offs.

Decent atmosphere for a change. Roll on Saturday.

Special mention for whoever started the chant going round the ground in the second half...... when a spectator nearly gets a man of the match nomination.
Ohio busy and put himself about. There is a player in there
    Morton
    Carvalho
    Philogen
    Hugely talented, very frustrating

1 ... Greaves another great game.

2 ... Omur he is getting better hopefully it will continue.

3 ... Coyle yet again a captains performance.

Tufan too had a good game we missed him massively when he went off.

The MKM is certainly not the fortress it needs to be. I thought North Stand had a good game too. 1234 :emoticon-0159-music:emoticon-0159-music :emoticon-0137-clapp :emoticon-0169-dance

Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third.

    Greaves 105 / Omur 105
    Tufan 49
    Coyle 16
    Giles 14
    Seri 6
    Morton 1
    Jones 1

    We have a tie!

Which is quite fitting for a drawn game I suppose.
