That's a brave selection. I can't help but think that MD is becoming our very own Tinkerman

All this chopping and changing formations and playing styles can't be good for our young players.

Exactly what QPR did on Saturday and won 2-1 ... Ha'way the Lads!!!

People wanted Seelt and Rigg, now they're saying he isn't playing a settled team <doh>

Not really. QPR had the best chances of the game and restricted Leicester to shots from range. They played with pace out wide, which we aren't.

Aye feels like if we get beat or a player does something wrong, rather than saying let's stick with the setup and lineup but work on it in training and do it better next match, it all goes out the window and we're back to square one and rolling the dice on some new bizarre idea.

I just hope with this setup the players know what they're doing, it's not been a feature under Dodds unfortunately.

Didn't they only have about 20% possession?

This looks like 60/70 minutes of keeping it tight then some pace coming on.

It would be daft having an open game when our confidence is down and we need to avoid conceding.

Yep, but produced the same amount of xG and produced more open play xG.

QPR are a good side under Cifuentes, and will beat us in a few weeks time.

Rusyn is a ready made replacement for Clarke on the left. I really have no clue why hes not getting a start there now that Clarkes injured???

I agree. Pick a formation and playing style, drill it into the players in training and stick with it for the last 11 games.

Let opposing teams worry about how to break us down, not the other way round!

Based on? They're 5th in the form table over the last 6 games picking up 13 points while we are 20th picking up just 4. Over the last 10 games they've picked up more points than Leicester while we have picked up less than Plymouth.

Looks good whenever he comes on it’s starting to piss me off to be honest. These are players supposedly signed as part of a plan to come straight in when the likes of Clarke move on yet when he inevitably gets injured because he’s played about 50 games on the bounce barely being subbed off (sure we actually mentioned this on here about 2 weeks before he picked up an injury) then the same lads are sat on the bench still something is wrong.

Yep. What's the point in the model, which I am a massive believer in by the way, if we don't trust the players we sign. And its not like Rusyn, Aouchiche, Ba and others look **** when they play, they are genuinely good players but don't get a look in.

Based on how easily we beat them down there.

We're basically the same teams and they're at the bottom for a reason.

They've dug out some results but I don't think they'll be so lucky in every game.

They are a completely different team, under a different coach.

They aren't getting lucky, their data projects them as an upper mid table team under Cifuentes.

Chair, Willock, Field and others all start for us.

Really poor team selection imo, i get playing 5 at the back against quality sides but it only works if you have pace to hurt them on the counter. There is zero pace, zero creativity and no1 that can beat players in 1vs1 situations n drag us up the pitch

Jobe has been shocking for a while now yet starts every game, i dont care what the data says about his running stats - he just runs about, theres no positional play to his game what so ever

Rusyn needs to be starting games and hopefully we see more of Adil - cant keep starting ekwah n jobe week in week out with how poor theyve been at times

Really hope im wrong n its a dodds tactical masterclass

On a positive, delighted that rigg is starting and im pleased hemir is getting another start

    Agree with all of this.

Ba and Rusyn starting either wing would give us a better balance, a bit of pace to hit them too
