Good Morning. It's Tuesday 5th March, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

    Should Kamara be dropped

Leeds midfielder Glen Kamara has proved to be a shrewd signing, since his £5.5m move from Rangers last Summer, but having suffered from a drop in form over the past few games, is it the right time to shuffle the pack?

Kamara has made 25 league starts this season, and generally speaking, has looked solid. He covers a lot of ground, he's a tough tackler and the best passer of the ball in the squad (93.4%), just ahead of Gruev (93.2%).

Whilst Kamara hasn't been at his best lately, Daniel Farke will not be keen to disrupt the rhythm of the team, though it has been suggested that bringing Roberts in at right back would allow Archie Gray go go back to his favoured position!

Averaging 2.09 per game may not be good enough

Should Leeds reach the fabled confines of the Promised land come May, it will be Daniel Farke's biggest achievement in football.

The 47yo is best known for winning promotion twice with Norwich City during his four and a half year tenure at Carrow Road between 2017 -2021. It was the main reason why the Elland Road hierarchy hired him in the first place, but will so little to choose between the top four this season, Farke faces the biggest challenge of his managerial career.

They say the Championship is the most difficult league in the World to get out of (even though Rotherham are making it look easy), and Farke has managed it twice, averaging 1.50 points per game. Leeds aggregate this season is 2.09, and even that may not be good enough.

    Byram given green light

Sam Byram is back to full fitness, and raring to go, after his latest injury set-back.

The versatile defender, 30, has proved a more than useful back-up player this season. He has made 28 appearances totalling 1428 minutes of game time, earning him a respectable 6.77 Whoscored rating.

He hasn't played since tweaking him hamstring during Leeds 3-0 victory over Rotherham almost a month ago, but having completed ten days of full training, will now be considered for the starting line-up.

Byram's injury record doesn't read well, but Farke knew what he was getting, when offering him terms last Summer. His current contract comes to an end this Summer, and it remains to be seen whether he'll be offered a fresh deal, though much will depend on what league Leeds are in!

    Morning all

9 straight wins and an away draw away to a team that didn’t want to play football, conceding very few goals along the way, beating the top two rivals, why should anyone be dropped.

    Morning all.

Kamara's sublime pass to Summerville should have seen us take an early lead against Huddersfield and that was after he'd done amazingly well to get forward and into the opposition's six yard box.

If Summerville tucks that away (as he should have done) we'd all have been singing Kamara's praises.

On a side note. Did anyone watch the debacle with Sheffield united last night. These promoted teams are taking some battering this season. Stadium half empty mid way through second half. Felt sorry for their fans as I remember the feeling only too well. Anyway, win tonight, bunch of our Galway whites present as always, and were on course for the 100 mark which might yet be needed

I may have missed a match because I fell asleep in the Hotel, but I've never left a match early(unless arrested or at a Chelsea game when I sat outside 2nd half trying to sober up.) and certainly not after 14 mins.

There were thousands of empty seats at ours too against Palace last season. Wakey Chesh and myself almost had the east stand to ourselves by the end

We should have beaten Arsenal at home last season and were most unfortunate to lose it 0-1.

Just saying don't compare us to that tripe down at Bramall Lane that's all <ok>

As Eire pointed out, whilst an amazing achievement it doesn't help us unless we finish top two...

Exactly, it’s an impossibility to win every game. Ipswich have now won five on the spin, that sequence must come to an end soon. Leicester having their blip so they must be hoping that they built up a big enough gap for when their form turns round again.

Spot on London. At one stage Eire said Leicester were un-catch able, but there is only 5 pts between us Ips and them and they were 12 a head. Still a lot of football left.<ok>
