Exactly....it certainly wasn't anything I was holding against him or hitting him with as people seem to be trying to make out. Id just rather have him here leading us in him prime then when he's learning his trade, just the same as I'd rather have any player here in their prime as opposed to learning their game etc.

Rosenior has been unlucky to lose Delap.
Stuff happens, which is why you have back ups.
Rosenior has brought in / approved coming in Connolly, Sharp and Ohio. That's worked out really well. He has to take some accountability.
Further, I don't think he's brought much at all in terms of improving our attacking, finishing, set pieces (just better individuals than previously). If anything, his obsession suppresses our attack.

Never gets a chance. Lucky if it spends any time on the table.

No doubt will have accusations of being negative thrown my way but much as I would love to see us in the PL, especially if we were the only Yorkshire club there, but genuinely worried about how we would fare. I do not think we are as good a team as Burnley were and we will lose some of our better players in the summer. Will we be able to replace them with better? Maybe another season of building and strengthening would not be a tragedy,

It's a difficult one in one sense as I can fully see your point, but with that money on offer surely it's a good thing no matter how and when you go up.

For me personally, with the owner we now have, I want to see us go up asap as the possibilities under him for making us known on a global scale, sponsorship opportunities, draw for players etc are mouthwatering.

The owner sees it for what it is though.

    A project.

Huge strides have been made since Rosenior took over. And why shouldn't he be here in his managerial 'prime'?

Because I live in the real world and it's almost a certainty that he won't be here that long

The whole world? I think I've seen quite a few - including our manager - who agree with me.

If you haven't watched the game then giving this sort of condescending response is rather weird.

It seems it's the done thing to take shots at me on here regardless of how simple the opinion I offer is. I've long since come to accept it.

Well in that case, surely you're accepting he's talented and as likely to move up the ladder as get sacked here?

I've never said he isn't talented, just that he's early in his career, inexperienced/naive and learning his trade. I'm pretty sure in his career he'll move on from a club because he's done a great job and I'm sure he'll be sacked from a club as well.

Don’t get me wrong, always want to see City at the highest level seeing as I spent 45 years supporting City thinking we would never play in the top flight. But if we did not go up this year I would not have the nervous breakdown that some would,

I think I'd rather us finish 7th and plan/aim for automatics next season, but I know for some that would mean LR must go.

So you'd prefer the club to fail in it's aims this season? Weird.
What's also weird is people somehow thinking we can pick and choose when to go up.
We have an opportunity this season. I want us to grab it with both hands. I want our club to be the best it can be.

I don't think we'll go up through the play offs regardless, although would love to be wrong obviously. I think the heartbreak of losing in the play offs could be more damaging than finishing on the cusp of the play offs, but who knows. Look at Coventry and their drop away after losing in the play off final, and Sunderland and Boro after making the semi finals. Compare that to the steady progression of a Luton for instance. Maybe over simplistic, maybe not. Apparently we're not even allowed to predict how the team will go in the next game let alone where we'll finish so guess it's all academic.

Good to hear. If we don't make the play offs then I'm looking forward to the distinct lack of comments to that effect then. :)
