Lawro....

Another tough game for Newcastle after they were beaten at Manchester City last weekend and another test for Manchester United's defence.

After they were thrashed by Manchester City, Sir Alex Ferguson locked up the back four and they managed a run of clean sheets but the mistakes returned in the midweek draw with Benfica.

Rio Ferdinand was poor again and David de Gea made a bad decision with his feet which is the first time we've seen that - he's only made handling errors in the past.

So that is a worry and I wonder if Ferguson is considering giving Anders Lindegaard a run in goal, who has looked a very solid keeper.

But I expect Wayne Rooney to be fit to play and United to get the job done.

Prediction: 2-0

No reason as to why he think they'll win. Nothing said about our team, no insight, nothing. Just "another tough game for Newcastle".

Clueless fat ****. I'm not surprised though.

 

Yet I still actually agree with what he says...

 

Obviously he'd go for a United win, but for every other game he's given reasons and proper respect for the teams involved. All he's done in this one is given his thoughts on united and said they should get the job done. He's not really said anything about us.

 

I'm actually surprised the word 'Newcastle' was even mentioned as he despises NUFC so much. Wonder if he can name one toon player?

 

I think we'll lose, so in that respect I agree. What does annoy me is that he can't even be arsed talking about us as a team yet is willing to discuss individual Manure players.

We get one sentence and then he just sums up what Man Utd have done this week. Great insight...

 

Don't ask me why but I got a feeling that we are going to win this game, though in the predictions I will still probably say Man Utd to win.

 

Lawro has proven he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about time and time again. Even if I agree with his words, I've just got no time for his patter.

 

Thing is we have the wise word of Merson to come

 

I have a feeling we will win, i'm even going to ask if my Man United supporting mate if he wants to watch it.

 

Said it before and I'll say it again, "I can't stand the sight or sound of Lawro" and I hate the fact that some of my money is going to help pay for the obnoxious twat to put us down on a regular basis.

 

Watching him on match of the day turns my stomach. He's got that smugish look about him that I can't stand.

Score line wise, he's prob fairly reasonable, but week in, week out he only ever talks about newcastle's opponents

 

Am I the only person who actually fancies us to get a result ? This is our best chance in years to win there I think. If the relegation team can get a 1 1 draw against em I'm sure we could especially with tiote back ?

 

I'd love it, I'd really love it if we beat them.

 

Already said I have got a feeling we're going to win, mind u last time I had that feeling we lost 5-3.

 

Am I the only one getting a bit bored with 10 different Lawro/Merson threads every week. Yes we get it, they're **** pundits. Don't really see why everyone is so obsessed.
