Think what fans of those clubs are thinking about us though. ‘They’ve only won again - at Leicester too. We’re dooomed!’
At the risk of being shot down in flames aside from scoring I thought Sinclair was poor today. Didn’t put himself about defensively, poor decision making and seemed disinterested.
Don’t care. It was a sensational hit that won us the game. Gotta get behind this lad and not focus on what he doesn’t do.
I thought he was disappointing chasing the ball either side of the halfway line. But my god didn’t hit that ball well for the goal. Forgiven
I’ve never seen him hit a ball as cleanly as he did for the goal, which I put down to lack of thinking time, and he did a good bit of ‘game management’ ie time wasting at the end where he could have easily gone for goal but slowed the game down, a new bit of maturity. I’m far from a fan but today’s cameo performance was spot on for me. Marti gave him big hugs at the end. Must have done as asked.
Quite the opposite from what I saw. He's obviously been instructed as to when and where to use his energy.
We win away......again! Get in Urrrrrr's. Huge shout out for the 3000+ who made the journey, what an away you had.
I've seen it posted elsewhere that Armstrong was following instructions to keep in formation and maintain the defensive shape.... if he tries to press and they pass by him then we are a man light in defensive shape and they start to pull players out of position...... Another sign of his growing maturity..... and that strike......
Busy all day bit followed on BBC. What a result! I suppose it would be too greedy to have had Millwall, Huddersfield and Stoke to lose but Brum did so happy with that. As Marti has said, focus on our games. Win what we can and we can't do more than that. Wednesday is going to be electrifying. Confidence up and we need to win it for Stan!
There’s a blue moon tonight, folks. A blue & white moon to be precise. Unbelievable, we beat the top side. Let the Marti party begin! Well done to the team, especially the manager. He’s made all the difference.
Perhaps it is a good omen in the same way we unexpectedly beat Burnley last season which was the start of the run to safety?
Next week's games could be interesting a few teams in the mix playing eachother - Blackburn/Millwall Sheff Weds/Plymouth Blackburn/Plymouth Millwall/Birmingham The pack could see some serious shuffling. Wednesday and Stoke both play Leeds as well. Would be a good week to win both our games, probably unlikely but who the **** knows, why not?
Amazing support. In a relegation battle and our fans give all of that heart and dedication. You can’t help but feel proud of everyone off the pitch this season. Today the boys on the pitch should also feel proud. Well done ALL you RRRrrrrssssss!
