We have had a soft underbelly for a long long time.

I watched Ekwah today and he just raged me. Bottling challenges, lazy off the ball and trying to score Beckham level free kicks with zero conviction or technical ability.

I'm going to stay off here tonight. I'm full of drink and full of being pissed off with the way we are at the minute. So instead of upsetting people I'll catch up tomorrow - maybe

Pissing down with rain, pitch is drenched and yet every free kick is floated for the keeper to deal with easily. Unbelievable.

Dodds also said in the local paper this week he wouldn't have took the job if it meant him losing his job in the summer.

Him and Proctor are part of the furniture

    Within our squad, Adil Aouchiche ranks;
    • 1st for xG per 90
    • 3rd for shots on target per 90
    • 1st for shots per 90
    • 2nd for xA per 90
    • 8th for completed passes per 90, 2nd if only counting attacking players
    • 2nd for completed long passes per 90
    • 2nd for successful tackles per 90
    • 4th for interceptions per 90
    • 2nd for possession won in the final third per 90
His lack of game time is an absolute disgrace and sums up the mismanagement of the squad this season. The lad will leave and flourish while we persist with players who are below his level. Joke.

Imo that's where the model falls short. And we are starting to regress now.
And players who are struggling getting games week in week out over others is a head scratcher.

Does the data give an indication of his best position? I can see him doing well as a 10 or as.one of the 2 no. 8's in a midfield 3.

Curious if the data supports that

    Patterson- youth academy
Hume- Young irish talent we spent cash and hes a gem.
Seelt- Psv B player, League 2 standard at best.
Onien- Jack of all trades master of none.
Hjelede- Only ever played reserve football
Styles- Barnsley player that none were sad to see leave
    Neil- raw talent
Ekwah- West ham U23 player a year ago
Mundle- Spurs U23 player went to Belgium and couldnt get a game for the 1st team.
    Hemir- Benfica U23.

Hmm wonder why we cant be in the promotion mix? Zero ambition from our ownership thats why

Maybe KS is sitting there thinking he should have backed Mowbray now, I know it’s all rumours but all he asked for was what we ask for, a decent striker and a bit experience in the middle of the park. He had his weaknesses but we can’t deny he got a great tune out of this squad, the regress has shocked me, I never in a million years thought we could look this bad, I know we are missing the core of our squad but I did believe what we had in reserve was better than what we are seeing. It’s glaringly obvious we need a manger in now, we can’t wait

His defensive numbers within our own half are not great so I wouldn't play him any deeper than a 8 in a 3, definitely couldn't play in a midfield 2. But if we just went back to the tried and tested 4231 and played him as the 10 I think that's where he'd be best looking at the numbers as he likes to get in very attacking positions and can press from the front.

His distribution is pathetic he needs to mix it up long ball quick ball etc.
His shot stopping is great however for a brick ****house he's a pussy in his area

And to make matters worse we sack experienced manager in Mowbray bring in Beale sack him and then spent the reatof the season with Beale. Its an absolute shyte show and no one with power with our club has no idea what they are doing

Stubbornly overlooking the obvious lack of an experienced striker and defensive midfieder whilst flooding the club with sub standard "youth" players and multiple players of the same role was and is utter madness. It is catching up with us now. Hopefully we already have enough points to avoid a relegation battle. I would not be overly confident if it comes to that. Can't score goals whilst always looking like conceding is a recipe for disaster.

    Interesting, thanks for explaining.

I'd have him as 2 of the No. 8's with a dedicated cdm to allow them a bit of freedom

A dedicated cdm would open this squad up to so many different possibilities.

No way Aouchiche plays an 8 for me we already have an abundance of them, 3 of whom were forcing into the team every week. He should be playing as the 10.

If Neil goes in the summer I can see Ekwah moving into the 8 permanently and us signing a proper 6.
