Can't believe how poor our passing has been so far. We seem a little off the pace and they seem on it yet the games pretty even, hopefully if we can find another gear we can take this.
Fabio is a tart in midfield he doesn’t want to really get the ball iwith his back to them in case he gets a knock - needs to stand up . Slaters having a great game
I enjoy a good moan as much as the next man but I'm not seeing the need here. There's been a few loose passes but this is ours for the taking for me. Entertaining game though. Fitness could be a big factor.
We need to come closer together, don't know how many times I've said it but our players are always at least 15 yards apart. The ball takes an age to get to where it needs to go and by the time it reaches the player, the recipient has a marker on him trying to muscle him off the ball. The City commentator said "Preston keep getting numbers back". He sounded surprised, but we aren't at the tempo we were against Southampton and that's why Preston have time to get back.
Every time we've strung a few passes together we've created great opportunities particularly for Zaroury and Coyle. Need a focal point if we're going to keep whipping crosses in.

Preston are direct , playing channel ball knocking it behind our backs then quick crosses in - that’s all they’ve got - but it only takes one chance and they’d shut up shop . We have looked way better going forward but a bit sluggish on the final ball - Zaroury not taking his man on - on a slippery pitch
