I.....don't get it. We really haven't seen Tonali properly yet, and what we have seen is decidedly mixed. We don't know whether he'll work in the Prem yet.
We've only got a handful of players of that quality. Only about 3 or 4 of our team would ever get an appearance for AC Milan. Seriously the majority of our team is dross.
Botman, Isak, Joelinton, Bruno, Gordon, Trippier, Livramento and Tonali is 8. With Willock, Barnes, Schar and Pope not far behind. We can't say Tonali is a top player for us yet though, he hasn't proven anything with us.
Maybe isak Guimareas Botman and Joelinton, but defenders aren't better all around footballers and neither are strikers. I'm with DPP and one reason is most our players are crap , so we're picking from a small pool of players that are of that level. He's definitely a good player tbf but unfortunately because he's at Newcastle he will never get a look in for England..last season he was outstanding week in week out yet there's players play well once or twice and get in.
I'm remember when he went off with the hamstring injury just as he was getting the praise he deserved... I didn't think he'd be out nion a year. Howe is like Bielsa and his style of play eventually catches up with his squads.
