Really well said. I understand the frustrations people have as we’re not as good this season as we’d like to be. It feels like a transitional time and a lot of our players will improve with the experience and toughness of the league. With the injuries, and suspension of Ballard, it’s showing up the green/non battle-hardened depth to the squad. We’ll get there and I’m looking forward to seeing these players develop. Still pissed off with the last few results, of course!

Considering we were in league 1 when they took over, got us promoted in his first full season in charge, then in the playoffs in the 2nd season, I would say they have done a decent job

If Sarori is buying a Uruguayan club it won’t be Club Nacional de Football. As you said, he was associated with many clubs as Club Atletico Cerro and the others that you said. Here in Uruguay the most recent news are rumours about trying to be President of C. Nacional de Football.

This year are national elections of President of our country so he could also be interested to give it a try… he won’t have chance of winning, but he could be Senator

Last time he started as a candidate to be President but ended as a Senator. Perhaps this time is more of the same…

Probably realised if he doesn't get the gig he's on his bike when the new manager comes in with his backroom staff?

I know that at some point in time there will be next owners but I don't believe it will be soon however stranger things have happened in football. KLD seems to be a young man with big ambitions and he (luckily in my opinion) chose SAFC as his choice and by his own words it was the kind of club that tugged at him with its close community like and fervent fan following.
Now we have fans turning on him for one or two big mistakes and then trying to make every little mis-step seem bigger than it is.
My question to you Bob is do think the club is better off now than when SD and CM were in charge and if so do you still want new owners in because for me even though we are having a bit of a hard time at the minute I can still see that we have the plan in place so many fans asked for over 3 years ago and those same fans now want us to go back to the frivolous ways of the past.

This is right. To be fair I’m not sure they’ve got things right eg too many squad players who may not make it here may be the equivalent of the quality we need in our 11 - it needs someone more experienced to reality check it seems to me - but I do think as a general rule the development of our club st all levels and even just the reputation is a massive positive change. Too many seem to lose the plot after a single defeat and immediately want a revolution.

I think KLD has moved the club on positively infrastructure wise. The pitch at the SoL is a prime example - it was a bad joke the way it was treat under the previous ownership. The academy players are not being hawked around anywhere for a few hundred grand either.

There is still a lot of room for improvement off the pitch - the fiasco of the BCB could do with being addressed and some accountability taken. The commercial side and where kids can buy safc shirts really needs ramped up.

The model needs looking at too - the zero experience in the signings is flawed imo. I also think speakman has far too much say in the 1st team and managerial appointments. The seemingly unsackable and immovable Dodds/Proctor combo is a millstone that rules out so many potential managers/head coaches which is why we ended up with the totally foreseeable disaster in the Beale appointment.

Time for KLD or KS to bite the bullet and get the new head coach and whatever team he wants to bring. Summer is too late, damage is being done week by week to our prospects of being able to get the best possible players in the summer when we cash in on a couple of players. This period is so critical. We need to be top 10 and have a clear direction of travel, otherwise cluba like Norwich etc will have a major edge on us.

Secondly this young squad needs leadership. Arguably KS and KLD need somebody to push them forward in the best way. We must have the youngest squad, youngest coaching team, and youngest boardroom. That isnt an optimum mix. It is why I argued Mowbray being given the bullet was daft, we needed an experienced man around the place. We need an appointment now to reset the club trajectory and that either needs to be an experienced man at this level, or a young coach with huge amounts of arrogance and self belief. We need leadership badly.

Who we get is up to them. If they have a man lined up for the summer, then spending to get him now will be the best money they could spend. No excuses, just go and make it happen. It is not impossible.

Would give the whole place a lift if we went out and got an impressive coach right now. He'd be backed even if results didn't go well this season because it wouldn't be their fault and would allow them to prep for next season. Needs to be done now. It won't be though.
