Continual rain for months has damaged a few a throw bback to the 70's when all pitches had that massive magical diamond shpe mud patch stretching to both penalty areas

 

Those were the days my friend.
I thought they'd never end.

Anyone familiar with the 'Big Match' revisits will be used to the sight of glue pot mud heaps and the huge patches of beach passing for a pitch from mid November, right through to April....And the kids today would never believe it..

I was pointing out there were divots on the supposed bowling green of BP despite no rugby being played on it. I have always said rugby is not the reason for the poor state of the MKM pitch.
