With the win over Palace there might not be any chances, the one which will have everyone talking about is Sol Bamba and Sean St. Ledger. SSL played really well last week but Bamba has been arguably our best player so far this season. Matt Mills got himself in team of the week and he is the captain so i cant see him being dropped. I think Nigel will keep faith with St. Ledger. Lloyd Dyer didnt have the best of games against Palace but he is one of Nigels favourites and the only out and out winger we have so i would imagine Dyer would stay in the team. So here is what i think the team should be

    Schmeichel

    Peltier
    Mills
    St. Ledger
    Konchesky

    Gallagher
    Wellens
    King
    Dyer

    Nugent
    Beckford

I can see David Nugent getting the winner with it being against his former club, he is that sort of player

A game we could win & build abit of consistency.

I´d go with what you´ve put PF, if no one did any wrong (v CPFC) & they are all fit. Looking forward to the rest of the season.<ok>

Have to agree, dont change a winning team!
But if its not going well would like to see Bamba brought on in midfield, Think he could do very well and add some bite. :emoticon-0165-muscl

I respect your views fellas, but no-one is owed a place - (in my opinion) Bamba has been our stand out defender in too many games to leave out of the side - We need our strongest starting lineup to shake the back to back win less monkey off our backs

Bamba needs to come back for me.

Best centre half in the league.

Agreed. Only change should be Bamba. I'm a big fan of dyer but saying that I didnt see the game on sunday so not sure of his performance. We have a massive period coming up with games we really should be winning. I'd expect us to be in the top 5 by the end of the year.

I can't see Nigel putting Bamba back in, though there's probably a fair argument to do so.

You could put out the Under-8's and probably still win.:1980_boogie_down:

Normally id agree, but its like just waiting for it to fail to bring back in a far better player. Bring in bamba and then drop him for st ledger if bamba doesnt do well, as ledge has taken his chance and bamba didnt.

I wouldn't say Bamba hasn't taken his chance this season because up until now he has been our best defender and was forming a good partnership with Mills until suspensions intervened. But that said, I think the fact St Ledger played well in the last game and took his chance should mean he now has the shirt and it is his to lose now. That is how a successful squad should work with competition for places driving everyone on and bringing the best out of players. I think Nigel will be fair about that as well.

On the bench, I think Bamba will come back in for Jeff to provide some defensive cover and, with it being an away game, I can Nigel being a touch more conservative with his subs bench.

Drop Gallagher!! did fook all against Palace and scuffed a couple of lucky shinners!!

Oh wait...that's what Sven would have done!

I agree it's Ledges shirt to lose now. keep him keen. Could really knock him to be dropped.
I think Danns could be given a chance, either as straight swap for Dyer or as an extra midfielder away, in replacement of Beckford.
