Yeah so what the **** do you? As in what is your job, or what are you studying to realistically be??

I sometimes take for granted that my job is different and interesting, although I am not 100% happy in it, I could be unemployed or in a job I hate.

I am a drugs worker in the criminal justice system, and I Have been here 2-3 years. It's good money but I would rather be a butcher :D

So yeh, totally OT and not in the general section (don't think I've ever posted outside this board). Sorry if it's been done before. Well not that sorry. Peace in the middle east.

I'll answer seen as though no-one else has...

Currently a student in Belfast, completed a BA in English last year (missed graduation 'cause I was in Uganda, so its been deferred 'till the 15th December) and am now doing an MA in Creative Writing.

If I'm perfectly honest I want nothing to do with my chosen subject. But I reckon it'll stand me in good stead for any jobs which involve marketing/advertising. I'm also finishing an application for Diageo, to work for their marketing/advertising department. Nothing too flashy, but I'd be well pleased if I got it.

At the same time, I've recently set up a little ebay business with a mate, all of £80 invest, we have a business plan that will, if all goes well, see us increase this by over 12x by this time next year...More of a side project really, but better than a kick in the balls!

I study Criminology, with the aim of going into the police(fat chance these days) but don't really want to, I want to start my own business, **** knows what but the idea of being my own boss really appeals to me. Anything with loads of money and no weekends will do me.

I studied in measurement and control engineering. Started working as a technician and hated it,now work as a document controller and assistant planner. **** job but the moneys good and overtime is £24ph.

Before that i have also worked as a manager in a travel agent call centre, worked for a large financial organisation in sales and sold gas and electric for Scottish power.

I guess im a jack of all trades.

I'm doing my MSc in Neuroscience at King's College London at the moment, graduated last year with my BSc in the same area. I really have no idea what I wanna do next, probably stay in education as long as possible, so looks like a PhD is on the cards!

Blimey there's some brains on this board!

I travelled the world last year, got home and couldn't find a job for love nor money so set up on my own as a travel industry business analyst. Was going to do it on and off until I got a "proper" job but ended up earning so much this year I've had to officially register myself with the taxman etc to make it all above board and have a few good contracts on the go. Anything to avoid dealing with recruitment consultants is good for me

Would still rather have a real job and regular/guaranteed income though so errrrrr...... if anyone needs me, I'll be on the sexy poll.

Currently working at sky call centre, pretty ****e if you ask me, same old same old.

Completed my FdSc in Computer Forensics, wanted to try get in to the police force or get a job in some private sector, but during that course I really enjoyed network securities, so im currently doing my top-up BSc in Network Technologies and Business.

I'd love to set up my own business, creating better infrustrictures within normal homes and offering a cheap but effective service for people who don't have a clue about computer and there own networking enviroment.

Could have gone to Uni, to study criminology but decided against it. Currently working at Next and have got selection for the Territorial Army in January, where i will probably solve all of the Middle East's troubles. Would love to join the Police one day.
