Yes there was a Deeney one too .

And people then jump straight in thinking that is going to happen .

    And Rajović 2.

We could have easily won despite being rubbish .

If anything Huddersfield scored when probably dominating the least .

But I know we lost and football is a results business .

Long before he joined Watford, I had seen Ince play, and wondered if he was only on the pitch because of his father. He doesn't add anything to a side from my point of view, and wonder if he was signed by us to make the numbers up. If you look at his career, it has been one of sign for a club, then get loaned out when he fails. A great example of a journeyman player.

Yet his salary is the second highest, behind only Jamal Lewis - apparently £30K per week.
If that's true, something dodgy has been going on.

Blimey - Hodet and Livermore should be paid than them surely ?

And 30k is too much for anyone if we we that skint as alleged.

He has played for many EFL clubs but been fairly limited in his success .

IMHO Ince adds diddly-squat to the team...and spent as much time on his backside on Saturday as he did on his feet.

I don't know how people claim to know what players earn, but I would guess that when a club signs a player, the cost of buying him and his wages are worked out to be a total cost over the length of the contract. Ince has a contract to 30/6/25, so his fee, thought to be about £50,000, so higher wages would be more likely than if he cost a couple of millions.

I think “experts “ like to guess what players earn .

Ofcourse no one can really be sure unless it’s officially made public.

I watched the extended highlights and take away the first half hour and we dominated them and should have scored 3 or 4 goals

Their two goals were both really breakaway attacks when we were in control, and not the first time this season, if we had a good Championship striker we would be top 6 maybe top 4, so annoying

I have been having a look at the players who have contracts that expire this summer, as it could mean another upheaval.

    Jamal Lewis Option to buy.
    Jake Livermore
    Giorgi Chakvetadze Option to buy
    Emmanuel Dennis
    Ben Hamer
    Matheus Martins

Apart from younger players, these are out on loan until this summer.

    Joao Ferreira
    Ashley Fletcher
    Samuel Kalu

The decisions on these players will not be easy, and should there be a new coach, which players from this list would he want?

Chakvetadze signed permanently during the January window. Can't remember how long his contract is for though - possibly the usual five years.

    Of the others:
    Kalu and Fletcher - goodbye.
Lewis is probably too expensive to keep, and hadn't really impressed much anyway.
I thought Martins was heading to Udinese?

Keep Livermore, Hamer and Dennis assuming they want to stay - and bring back Ferreira who has done quite well at Udinese

    You are right about Chakvetadze.

Presumably we’d have to pay a fee to Forest for Dennis ?

And Lewis was just a loan signing so won’t get him permanently.

Think Martinis only on loan too .

Hamer and Livermore have been offered new deals apparently.
