Fortunately those limitations have got us nine wins in a row including beating run away leaders Leicester.
I'm just happy. everyone is mint at the club I say that probably because we are winning it tends to make you feel that way. As on the cup be nice to see where this team actually is but I doubt we will even see that as I'm sure both teams will make changes from a full strength team. Look we playing well in the championship but the prem is a diff ball game we deffo would need upgrades but lets talk about that if or when we get there. Chelsea full strength or not should beat us and we really need them to play under par for us to get anything but we are here so might as well have a go as we only have 1 or 2 games left in the competition unless lady luck is really kind in the following draws. but if I had to choose to win only one of the games give me a win at the Udders any day of the week. being in the Prem vastly outweighs a cup run or even winning it at our current stage of league football.
Think that also reflects the difference in quality of the squads they inherited in fairness. Bielsa worked wonders with limited players ability wise.
Quite a few of our current starters were added by Farke. Gruev. Rodon. Ampadu. Roberts. Kamara. Pirout. Bielsa inherited some decent players. Pablo. Bamford. Klich. Cooper. Ayling. Wasn’t a case of Farke inheriting a pl outfit while Bielsa got scraps as some would have us believe
Am just happy as Larry mate. loving life, loving me football again and should i start saying starting to love the lighter nights and turning of the weather. you only live once enjoy it all when you have it well nearly all but its as good as lol.
You need to be more alliterative with your title headings Jammy. I was looking forward to reading "Jammys Jovial Journal: A Jubilant Jamboree"
Bielsa worked wonders with; League One Liam Journeyman Ayling Klich a player deemed not good enough and loaned out Dallas who was a bloody awful right winger Only decent player he inherited was Pablo Hernandez as we signed Bamford at Bielsa's insistance.
The way we're playing and with the remaining fixtures are there any posters out there who think we won't finish Top 2 ?
If we carry on playing like we are then yes, we go up automatically. The real question is whether we can continue playing like we are for another 2 and a half months. I would say that is highly unlikely. We won't win every game. The thing is, neither will anybody else. 2 pts a game has always been enough. 92pts has to be the target.
League One table last season; Plymouth 101 points Ipswich 98 points Sheff Wed 96 points There's no way 92 points will be enough for us this season. For me the number is 96.
Our home form is a huge plus and we should get a huge chunk of points from remaining ones. For several seasons we’ve had lots of players struggle with the pressure cooker of Elland road. I’d go as far as to say we were at our best when it was empty. This lot seem to have embraced the atmosphere and they’re thriving on it
Got to put a strong team out. Farke is a decent coach, but put any championship manager in charge of our squad and they should be top 6 comfortably
