We didn't need Barnes, we have Gordon. We needed a pacy right winger. We also need a Titan of a CF that can bully the defence, a hard bastard CDM and a pacy CB.
Roland was very vocal about all this in the summer and he's been proven demonstrably correct hasn't he. They got it all completely wrong and they've wasted the opportunity that's come once in the last 20 years. Honestly I think things will get considerably worse over the next year or two.
I dont think it will but I do think they will sell Bruno for £80-£100M in the summer. The questions is will the spend that on 5 x £50M players that make us a stronger team or will they spunk it on Bournemouth players
Imo they'll replace any sold players with plodders if Howes here. The guys boring in every way possible. The thing is he seems to be obsessed with easy to manager players with character, but we're easy to beat and just soft as ****e... I've never seen such a gutless group.
Howe needs shot. End of. There’s **** all evidence to the contrary. FFP or not the summer was a ****ing disaster and if they have any designs on being a decent force in the PL and beyond they need to ****ing man up and get rid of these tin pot twats like Howe, Shola, etc.

Hard to say with Howe. I do think he's overly negative at times but looking at your squad he did very well last Season. Im not sure many managers would get a better finish with the same players - wether he could mount a title challenge with a better squad remains to be seen.
LD is too negative but his concerns have some merit. We all wanted Howe to be the one to win us our 1st trophy in years but since December it's been a bit of a **** show. No Europe this year will set us back, no doubt about it. Can Howe take us forward again - honest answer. I really dont know anymore. He has till the end of season but if we finished 8-10th place or worse, then I think it may be time to part ways.

Our best player was an Arsenal player.... half our fans rarely mention his name he's under appreciated. They think Longstaff is integral. They'll deny this and get arsy, but they did stats n stuff to back up the notion that longstaff runs around alot so we can't win without him.
