Another mention ....if it's not the cult it's another strange faction. I'm struggling to keep up with battling so many fronts.
Stat's from the BBC: Arsenal are unbeaten in their past 11 Premier League home games against Newcastle, with last season’s goalless draw ending a 10-game winning run. Their last defeat against the Magpies was in November 2010. Having won 1-0 at St James’ Park in the reverse fixture in November, Newcastle are looking to complete the Premier League double against Arsenal for just the second time, previously doing so in 1994-95. Arsenal have failed to score in three of their past four league games against Newcastle, as many as they had in their previous 27. However, the Gunners' 30 Premier League clean sheets against the Magpies is the most any side has kept against another in the competition. Ayoze Perez was the last Newcastle player to score an away league goal against Arsenal (December 2014), with the Magpies failing to convert any of their 63 attempts on goal at Emirates Stadium since. The Gunners have kept seven consecutive home clean sheets against the Magpies. They’ve never kept eight successive shutouts on home soil against an opponent in their league history. Love stat's like these because theses runs have to end sometime!
I know right, not one for posting stuff like this often but was so wild I thought I'd share. Still expect the only stat to be broken from that list to be 8 consecutive home clean sheets!
I'm not much of a gambler, but I might just take out one of Chippy's 'insurance bets' on this one. Although the odds in Arsenal's favour probably aren't even worth it.
Common sense is all that's required on this one. I don't want to hear any noises about faith or any other mumbo jumbo just use your heads for goodness sake.
Merson sez we're gonna get destroyed https://www.caughtoffside.com/2024/...iSE1D-_f1wl7sTuTyWdIDAa8YQcEi_iL7dTZ3Ky1XNrLQ Betting tips from Paul Merson aren't advisable
Surely you want us to beat them, to help your push for top 4? Oh no, that's right, you support Sunderland.
If Newcastle won 5 in a row we'd be saying that's why nufc will win. Ultimately it's all mental gymnastics and Arsenal should and will beat Newcastle because they're a better football team and playing at home. There's always an outside chance, but that doesn't make going with that is wise.
Why would I be a Sunderland fan? Those small time ****ers gave it the big un when City won the league with Aguero at the death, pricks.
