I also think we’re not going to get a chance to display a press like we did against Southampton. I think Coberan will get the ball out of defence quickly, they’ll be going longer to forwards and wingers and hope to win a lot more second ball further forward.
Based on that video of him, Omur looks capable of being able to avoid the cloggies. Fast & tricky, but the pitch conditions may slow him down a bit ! Low c of g may help mind you ?
I reckon this guy is gonna Lump on us . Charlie Beeston “Both of these sides will want to solidify their place in the top six coming into the closing stages of the season. The gap between Hull in sixth and Coventry in seventh is only three points, and West Brom are only a place above their Saturday opposition. Coming into this, it is hard to truly pick a favourite. Hull have the pick of the form, however, they are the home side and their home performances this season have been less than stellar, whilst West Brom have had a strong away record. Surely that means a draw is the obvious pick? Well not necessarily. This is the early kick-off on Saturday, which anyone who puts an accumulator on at the weekend knows, the form book goes out of the window. Therefore, I’m expecting a big West Brom victory with a clean sheet, something they’ve been able to get plenty of this season.” Hull City 0-4 West Bromwich Albion
Last time we played them we had Greaves at left back and Twine and Traore as our wide options. Think their fans might get a shock if they expect we will play in a similar way.
Yes, I remember in the LR thread people lamenting that he set us up to play our usual game but we didn’t have the wingers (it was Philogene’s first game out) and it didn’t work. Very different prospect this time round.
Pitch will play a very important part in the game.... thankfully dry tomorrow and Saturday... when I drove past this morning all the floodlights were on so I presume they were working hard on it...
Hull owner Acun Ilicali says Ronaldinho is coming to Hull to watch a game and meet our players and fans! https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...all-with-legend-ronaldinho-hes-coming-to-hull
Some tasty fixtures coming up. Confidence will be sky high now especially after recent results. Many eyes will be concentrating on the 4 clubs battling it out to get Auto ..let’s hope they all forget to look over their shoulders. UTT.
I'll take 1-0 by fair means or foul..... not too bothered about a Southamptonesque (first half) performance... just the win please.. its all about impetus now...
