Admit to being a sucker for these Bumpers in Ireland, and today's finalé at Thurles (16:23) is no exception. Don't think I've ever picked a winner in this sphere yet, although have been chinned in a photo once or twice. So, again will go for Gordon Elliott's newcomer, Wudya, a Califet mare, and a well-bred half-sister to a dual Bumper winner. Experienced amateur, Mr. Harry Swan (5), rides for the Elliott yard. 4/1 best price in nearly all places at time of writing, on both the ATR and Oddschecker sites.
Briefly, in the last at Lingfield (16:45), s Class-5 Handicap Hurdle over 2m on heavy ground, the Flemensfirth gelding, Double Click, looks nailed-on to run a big race.
