That’s faster even in the hotter day conditions too- presumably they’ve all got time up their sleeve in the evening session later- these things are gonna be quick this year I reckon

It's very early but the laps ran suggest they are all reliable enough and just getting into the work.

Although I usually don't read much into times in pre-season practice, the pace and stability of the RBR doesn't bode well for an exciting season.

Yep. It's not about the lap time, but how it just looks so stable in those corners.

This is going to be another very very long season.

Anyone ever hear anything about Cosi?

Can we read anything in to Newey being at the track sans his RBR uniform?

Come on Newey, get out of that cess pit!

That stable reg convergence we're all told about in full effect once again.

From the last decade it seems more accurate to say that the leading team usually pulls further ahead until the next rule change resets things.

Day 1 last year: 1'32.837. Day 1 this year 1:31.662

Just the odd 1.2 seconds improvement

Norris last year was on 1:33.462 this year its 1:32.484 so they've improved by 1 second thus far and I'm sure are not pushing it too much as they vastly improve the car over the year last year.
