Fantastic performance, impossible to pick MOTM because they all deserved it. Tufan for me should be singled out for his play in the closing 20 minutes. He seemed the only one intent on holding onto the ball and pressing high which is absolutely what we should have been doing since booting it long just gave them wave after wave of attack. Tufan actually looked to come back inside, carry the ball, look for a pass and that ball retention bought us precious minutes.
Think he might actually not consider de-funding us and walking away if 'the gamble' doesn't work this season?
Finally having lots of shots in games. Shows what we can do when we are a bit braver going forward. And we missed lots of good chances! I’m interested to read the Southampton forum about their thoughts on their first half performance. They played like we normally do at home (slow and around the back in dangerous areas). I was not surprised to see us up at half time when I saw them doing this in the early stages. Take nothing away from the lads though, they pressed well and took full advantage of it. West Brom game is coming at a good time. I hope they are underestimating us!

Hardly know where to start but what a performance that was. The players to a man were magnificent and picking a top three out is going to be a nightmare. However, before I do that, I just wanted to praise Rosie and the rest of the management team for that masterclass. I posted my thoughts yesterday or the day before but shows what little I know. When I read the team news, at first I was trying to figure out the thinking but then it started to make sense and once I saw how well the whole team was pressing all over the pitch, I started thinking we might just be onto something here. Outstanding performance from all involved, including of course, the travelling faithful!
That 3 points takes our total to 54 . We should be safe from relegation now . Well done boys . Now for the play offs .
