    With everyone fit, this is the strongest line up;

    Baz
    KWP
    THB
    Bednarek
    Bree
    Downes
    Aribo
    Stuie
    Brooks
    Che
    Adarma

With Fraser coming on as super sub.

Other than Downes, what midfield would have you chosen?

Cheers Fella...POs looking that way fella...Still got a tough run in, which knowing City could go anyway. If City win the next 13 on the bounce I reckon we could pip Leeds for 2nd (Most unlikely).
Might see you in London for the final. (More than highly unlikely)

Leicester lost at home to Hull as well don't forget. They're a dangerous side and I'm not going to despair over this. I wasn't expecting a storming 2nd half like Huddersfield was. I wrote off the win completely at HT. Hull were much better equipped to deal with pressure than Huddersfield. We might have snuck a draw had we scored sooner but the better team won. Still all to play for.

I thought Mara and Rothwell were playing in a practice game - no urgency at all. RM has to carry the can for not having his team set up right and at it right from the off.

Aribo. He's been excellent these last two games.

Not the right game for Mara, which was pretty clear from the off. Rothwell was just baaaaad though.

Aribo and Charles or Aribo and Smallbone. Bit of physical presence in there (I'd go Aribo and Charles actually).

I agree he has been excellent, but he isn't a defensive mid so wouldn't help with the issue mentioned.

i think he should start in one of the 2 more advanced midfield positions.

When you don't have someone to break up play in midfield, you are going to get wrecked.
Aribo HAS to start from here on out, Optimally with Downes and Stuey.

I remember the sinking of HMS Antelope, and the Coventry and Sheffield. There is more that unites maritime cities than divides us. Couple of weeks ago marked the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Gaul. 36 lives lost, 30 from Hull and 6 from Hartlepool ( I think). Just a thought for ‘all those in peril on the sea’.

Great game tonight, just shaded it, see you at wembley!

The fact he didn't says a lot. Martin has more trust in a makeshift CDM rather than Charles. After Bristol you can see why as well, he isn't ready yet.

It makes the decision to sign 2 attacking players in January look a strange one.

After Bristol when he went off at HT and we got far worse defensively? He's getting far too much blame for that unfairly imo.

And then he was excellent at West Brom and we didn't look wide open every time we lost the ball. Tonight without him again looked like an early season game where we got murdered after every transition.

He's our only other DM apart from Downes who's currently injured. The style we play can't afford to have a makeshift DM as it's ridiculously critical to it.

He has to start every game until Downes is back for me. We simply have no other options who can play that position.

There's no way he's a worse DM than Smallbone or Aribo or Rothwell or whoever.

BTW it's ridiculous to write off our automatic promotion chances. 2 points is nothing. Leeds will drop points at some point. And Ipswich were 12 points ahead of us at one stage. 13 games still to go.
