    I remember a little while back on the Podcast The price of Football, Kiaran McGuire saying the often owners of football clubs, even though year on year the club lose money, what they do look at is the saleable value of the club. I guess this is a good example of this.

    Would be interesting to know how much City have gone up in saleable value compared to how much Acun paid for it?

    Things looking even better for him, according to The Times, it's gone up £100m in the last two hours <laugh>

    'Matthew Benham has appointed Rothschild to oversee the potential sale of Brentford in a deal that is expected to value the Premier League club at about £500million'.

    I just read the Times article, I just wonder is the £400m was with him retaining a minority share which is his preferred option but would want £500m for a 100% take over?
