Absolutely this. My Dad goes on about him like he is Guardiola, when, in reality, he knows absolutely nothing about him! Nor do I. Nor did I about Beale.

Beale got my full support. Whoever is next will also

I know it's not the normal way to do business, but if KS has got any sense, he will leak info on the preferred new coach well in advance of him signing the dotted line to guage fan opinion first.

The last thing we need is another fiercely unpopular appointment :emoticon-0112-wonde

Number one target according to Nick Barnes.

If it’s true about there being no compo for him in the summer then it makes sense to give it to Dodds until then.

Won't he want to bring his own staff in? I can't see him coming on his own

if you believe reports for him and his staff it's about 5m quid now in the summer it's practically nothing,

i honestly think it's who the wanted from the start and that's why we are now waiting till the summer

You think he will be allowed to bring in his own staff? Where will that leave dodds and proctor?

Makes you wonder why we gave beale a 2.5 year contract if still was available in the summer and interested. Why not give it to dodds till the end of the season in the first place.

'It certainly tarnished my image!' - Ligue 1 sensation Will Still hits out at 'made up' links with Sunderland

Still told Gazete van Antwerpen: "I don’t know which French-language newspaper made up that story, but it certainly tarnished my image.

"Now I know journalists can make or break you. The article was also quickly adopted in England. Suddenly I was in all the tabloids. Everyone thought I had offered myself to Sunderland. [That] I wasn’t being honest, so to speak. And not to be trusted. But I would never offer myself to another club.

"I’m not wired like that. I have too much respect for the people I work with for that. It’s a shame the story was blown up so much."

Still has a release clause in his Reims contract, something he says he wasn't aware of.

"I didn’t even know that clause [allowing him to leave for €5m] was in my contract until last week. Perhaps that is why Sunderland put some pressure on certain media. Was it an attempt to get me out of here for free? I don’t know.

"I’m not interested in it either. But it does frustrate me. Because now it seems like I’ve become arrogant. Or started floating [in the clouds]. But that is absolutely not the case. I am still the same Will as I was at Lierse or Beerschot."

its probably for the best the way it has turned out, I have yet to be convinced with the caretakers , a bit too cosy for my liking, but let see how they do. , they gave me hope once. with a brilliant start against WBA and Leeds which proved a false dawn, as they went back to the tried and failed-safe TM line up., an inexplicable reversion, suggesting that the promising start was a fluke. Beale never gave us any hope at all , we needed a quick fix and he just wasn't up to it, no plan A or B, in fact little obvious plan at all to hang your hat on, wrong man wrong place end of story . I think we should now sound out a couple of younger coaches from successful Premiership or Championship club's with a that little bit of quality. to match our Owner's ambitions . OaU .

Not sure about Will Still. Well thought of but Reims aren't setting the league alight.
But whoever comes in needs to be allowed to bring their staff with them.
Dont need to kick out what we've got but If the club is to continue its footballing progression then we need to keep bringing in new ideas

Trouble is we can't have a massive coaching team, if Still wants to bring in say 4, where does that leave the existing coaches?

It's as clear as mud the direction at the minute, if a new coach can bring in his own, then why wasn't Beale allowed to? Just a bit of a mess at present imo
