Prestige performance puts QPR back in the hunt - Report - Queens Park Rangers News | Loft For Words (fansnetwork.co.uk)
Agree, 19 a tad optimistic. It's all about what happens around us. The potential for a nail biting last day of the season is there.
There are 9 teams (at least) competing not to be one of two relegated. Because of games against each other, we aren’t going to need 50 points to escape. More like 46. We still have to win more than clubs above us of course.
Interesting that he thought Willock was somewhere near back to his best, when many on here were again very critical of him.
Yes, I thought that too. The total needed to survive this season may be a tad lower than normal hopefully.
I’m giving: Plymouth 16pts. ____53pts Swans 14pts. ______50pts Brum 12pts. _______50pts ‘burn 11pts. _______48pts Hudds - 13pts. _____47pts Stoke 11pts _______46pts QPR 13pts. _______45pts - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ‘wall 9pts. ________42pts Shef. Weds 13pts. _ 42pts Rotherham … Of course it’s a bat-$hit crazy league where upsets are abound. So anything could happen from Sheffield up to Blackburn where a surprise win, or pulling out a win from a draw can totally change things around. Going to be a nervy and interesting run-in. Definitely not all over yet. Hope we won’t rue those five opportunities we had to move up earlier and don’t cost us at the end.
He was better than he has been for sure but incredibly wasteful with the shots he had. Didn’t seem to give it away often. The bloke who came on early for them on the left wasn’t doing a lot of defending which probably helped.
Agree with this. Rotherham game is absolutely massive now. IF we win it and we'll almost certainly be out of the bottom 3 and have won 4 out of the last 7, with decent draws against Norwich and Huddersfield, and just the one loss against Stoke. That's quite the confidence builder.
Is there a prize for guessing correctly? If so, I'll throw my hat in to the ring with 39. Assume that spread betting ain't allowed. If it had been might have gone for 0 -39.
Yeah, to be fair, Clive did mention his poor finishing. I only saw the highlights and reckon he should definitely have buried at least one of them. He's not alone in our squad for being guilty of that though.
