One of each, the juicies take a 2-1 lead, but a neat chip from the sandy bit sets flight to another nice looking birdie to end my week
Wordle 974 4/6* Almost a birdie but as Eric M might say all the right letters just not necessarily in the right order
A birdie in Spain Two hughies and a juicy (first and last letters in place and the second letter now obvious) Struggled to think of a word - eventually did but wrong choice - three hughies in place Finally sunk the put for a three
Gerrin, Young Ted, Clocky and I like this... Snaggey, hoy the 7s at him I'm going to need it, lucky bogey today. Horrible score this week, one to forget, almost like a handshake... not.
Chart for the week. Been some good scores this week, with x5 scores under 25 ( though ive no doubt Flanders would have made it 6. Ag = away golfing), and x3 on 25. No fails, and only x1 in the 30's club. Star of the week, with an excellent score of 19, is @cumbrianmackem. X5 birdies and x2 eagles doing the business. Well done again, you're class at this mate. Runner up spot goes to @Ron with an impressive 21, Honourable mentions to @Gordon Armstrong with 22 (and some bloody nice birdies), @malagamackem with 23. I scored a 24, my best score for what seems like yonks. @Blond Bombshell, let me know if you want me to mention the 30's club. I'm happy to say nowt if you prefer.
Couple of inspired guesses didn't materialise but left me with 2 options, one of which I'm sure I've had before
A par to start the week. Could be worse as there’s an alternative still available. - two yellows, - two greens and a yellow, - four greens.
Bloody hell another Eagle. 1 of each with last letter correct, one word jumped out at me and bingo in went the putt. Thanks Snaggey for the chart, I'm definitely on a roll, I take a lot of care after go one and don't jump in like I used too, it certainly works at the minute.
That's three in a row for me . . . .Hughies no. 3 & 5 and a juicy (which turned out to be Hughies number 1, four Hughies (so close !) before the right guess from a choice of a few to give me a lovely view of some (three in a row) birdies
