I’m in the same boat, not been able to make any midweek games and only a handful of weekend games, plus with the new tv deal starting next season, i expect us to be on every other week.
I'll renew along with my son grandson and son in law. Good social side enjoy the crack occasionally the football. As some say its in the blood. Love the away games also and catching up with friends from around the country.
Not a debate for ours. Shared family ones so cost is shared around. We will have them and be glad to. Lucky stars and all that. We have had them since moving to the SOL, had them at Roker for years before. My own slice of a season ticket started when I left Sunderland in 1989. Before that I had my own. Me and my cousins have shared since then. Man I have seen some absolute dross in my time Dont know we are born at the minute
Some people are making out the club is a terrible state, when they n reality it's not. Things need to improve but it's not that bad been a lot worse for many many years that I've been going
Will renew, spending the time with my grandad following safc means more to me then how we are playing or whether I agree with hierarchy’s decisions or plans. It is a tough watch at the moment mind but overall I still think the club is on the right path to progress. I think this summer will be a big one for KLD with the likelihood of big sales and potentially a big head coach decision.
Hopefully we will be renewing. All depends on my old mans health. He's struggled a bit in the winter night games but fingers crossed.
He should take the coach decision now, gives the coach a few months to feed in as to what areas he feels need strengthening, IMPOV anyhow
I agree that I think Beale should go now. I worry if theres a suitable longer term replacement available for us now or will it be easier in the summer. If the pool of managers we can realistically attract was headed by someone with Beales managerial CV then I think that’s a bit of a worry too. Would be surprised to see beale sacked mind but speakman has to be concerned with beales statistics since he joined
All of my lot renewing like has been said it’s a great day out not just the football, can’t see how people think this is worse than when the 2 clowns were in charge beggars my belief TBH
It’s an excuse and it’s pathetic. It’s also usually bravado then the old ‘**** them they’re not stopping me going’ type of ****e. I’ve been going since 1974, I’ve heard all sorts of ****e excuses for not going.
i am 65 in October i could get in for £300 by then, miss the first few home games but save about £250. i have been a card/ticket holder 24 years out of 27 at the SOL.
