Have you read this thread? Not much positivity on here until about the 89th minute of the match. By contrast the Stoke thread was positively brimming with confidence until the team in hoops did what we all feared - diddly squat before cocking it up royally. Again.

We get to the brink of safety, play a side we should beat comfortably and then the wheels come off. Those are the moments we all wish we had someone like Warnock or Holloway sitting alongside El Cif to motivate them for those games.

    Watched the highlights.
Is Anderssen just a straightforward, careful clever straightforward pass sort of guy.

He just makes good decisions, for simple good passes.

I like him a lot. We will not be in awe of his tremendous skill...but he will make us a lot of goals. He is a tremendous asset.

Well, well, well, wouldn't you just know it lol. A win there today seemed as likely as Kiwi putting up a decent bird for Turkish. After the fiasco of the other night I couldn't foresee anything but a heavy defeat, so kudos to the players and manager for pulling that one out of the fire. Now can we please bear Rotherham and hopefully get out of the ****ing bottom 3. I'll gladly take a scruffy 1-0, but at the 5th tine of asking we surely have to grasp this opportunity before the filthy March fixtures begin. I believe if we could only just get out of the relegation zone, our self belief will grow and we can achieve the impossible dream of survival. Onwards and upwards, we'll done boys. Come on u rrrrr's

Long old trip. Only got in ten mins ago after it took about three days to get away from that dump. Worth it for once.

First half was an abomination apart from the goal out of the blue. As bad as Stoke.

Second half thought we looked really calm and were never really threatened even when they had plenty of the ball for about 20 minutes at the start of the half. Once the subs came on we improved and created far more. Nobody had a bad game though Dykes won’t be a Championship striker while there’s a hole in my arse.

There was a collective groan when the team was announced in the cricket club but Dunne was excellent defensively and about as useless as Cannon with it. Chair man of the match for me by a country mile even without the goal. Replacing him whichever level we’re at will be near impossible.

A fine time had by all.

When FIFA reply to my daily emails about set pieces only counting for half a goal we’ll be winning the European Cup in no time.

Strange how Bristol City don't have shirt sponsors.

Just come on to see the result, great stuff.
A win gets us closer to escaping relegation.
Well done, keep it up, lads.

Really? I didn't even notice. I prefer shirts without sponsors, our Guinness one being the exemption.

It was something to do with celebrating their 1974 side that had a cup run..... thought it looked decent.....

Deliberately tried to avoid watching this and not even keeping tabs on it to see if it would bring us luck....then a cake-eating super hero dwarf (ex- of this parish) text me to say we'd gone ahead <doh>

Anyway, great result....my son says that I'm now banished to my bedroom for the rest of the season to keep the positive results flowing <laugh>

You all know we're gonna lose to Rothrum, right?

Dunne’s successive monstrous tackles were indeed sensational. We’ve all given him stick this season but man, gotta love the guy after that

Really could have been 2 or 3 in the end.

I might be wrong but I don't recall us having a single corner while Andersen was on the pitch, was wondering if he'd be taking them.
