Somewhat agree but the club will not. To keep progressing it's better to remain relevant in Europe from a commercial standpoint, attracting players and also from an experience point of view, getting used to managing more demanding schedules etc.
I told you didn't I mate? Arsenal next ... no doubt it's OK to lose that one but when you can't beat Luton or Bournemouth home or away I think it's time everyone stopped blowing smoke up this manager and out crap players arses.
It'll do but are Luton and Bournemouth top half? This side is as bad as the one Bruce left at the moment.
Newcastle fans don't want one of the greatest ever managers and Lord players like Murphy ... they even shout shoot from 50 yards when the player can't score from 5.
If you win it you get into the Europa, win that then into CL, think that's the way to go, slip up the inside so to speak!
I've only heard people pleading not to get Jose Mourinho.. it's bizarre. We've not won anything and he's way above our stature.
He would only work out in about 5 years time, IF by then we have a star studded team and billions to spend on his own fantasy team. No way will he coach the players we have right now. But also, his style of football is **** / boring. Success maybe. Watchable football, no. There are other oprions out there.
The clubs profile would instantly be raised and that makes more fans and more £££. Howes a bottom feeder... the type at the old Newcastle or Swansea or some **** like Everton maybe.
Not right now but the plans to replace him should be underway. It's my opinion that he isn't as good as people have told themselves. If this ownership wants to win something he's got to go.
