A dull, pedestrian game which came alive in injury time.

Select your top three, in order.

    1. Greaves- solid at the back, oh and a couple of goals .
    2. Tufan - 100 % effort, plenty of challenges and passed well .
    3. Alsop - okay maybe at fault for the goal , but he deserved a clean sheet .
I went from glum to very happy quickly .
    Well done boys
    Come on City

    Tufan - What a warrior!
Omur - Unreal quality for the cross, would start him on Tuesday

Greaves, Greaves, Greaves. Added another £2m to his value. Perfect Game from him.
Omar. Quality set up for winner. Needs to start
Jones. Steady at back especially 2nd half

A very decent start & 1st half from us. Dominated well but needed more efforts on goal.
Some strange positional subs that didn’t seem to work. We seemed to be happy winning 1-0 until they scored again & we went up another gear.
Take the result all day though!

    1 Greeeeeaaaaavvvveeeessss.
    2 Jones
3 Tufan....not sure why he was taken off tbh

Centre backs were class today, really good - won absolutely everything in the air. Ohio is an 80:20 player, 80% of what he does is great, the other 20% utter dross, but did more than enough to warrant starting on Tuesday. Wrong call to take off Tufan imo, but imagine that taking off Jacob (the obv candidate) to put Coyle at rb would've been hard after he'd been subbed on. If Coyle was ok for 10 mins at the end, not sure why he didn't come on in the first half tbh, sympathy for Jacob, as a full back myself I hate being asked to play on the other wing, really messes with your game.

Greaves - Great defending with a two goal bonus.
Philogene - some key defending at times. Unlucky not to score.
    Jones - more stout defending.

Number one is easy one this week by a country mile. For defending and attacking.

    New captain fantastic, Jacob Greaves.
Allsop - thought he did really well despite being called out on their goal. Some good saves and distribution.
Alfie Jones. It was the defence that won it for us today.

Giles did well too, Ohio played well for his half, Tufan ran everywhere and once again looked v good in deeper position. Philo and Zaroury a bit off it today. Carvalho did a bit better and Omur looked good when he came on. Jacob looked suspect with two give-aways on his 'wrong' side, but still played some very good quick forward balls which were accurate. Slater played better too with some nice passing.

Jacob Greaves 10/10. Never fazed, won every header, led well, never missed a tackle and scored two good goals. And he's one of our own.
Alfie Jones, held the back line with Greaves and never gave Hudders a real clear cut chance. Won all his headers, and an assist for the first goal. Hope he's as good on Tuesday against his old club.
Ozan Tufan. Beefs up our midfield. But we need Seri in there on Tuesday.
    ..
Despatches; Jaden Philogene. Always a danger and was unluckly not to score the winner himself. His first touch from Jacobs? long ball, and turn of speed was sublime. He could well become our first player to make the full England squad, since E.G Wright,
The away support was excellent too.
The referee lost it a bit mid way through the first half which allowed Hudders to try and steamroll us. They tried and they failed.....

    Tufan

Even though I actually thought he was really good until he conceded, Allsop should've saved that for me
