Very confusing on here in the last minute some still saying Ohhh bugger and ffs. Others saying get in ... Very amusing.
Carvalho played alright, he has a good pass on him, he's wasted out wide where he seems to keep playing. Omur has to start the next game, he's so measured and calm in possession and his cross was pinpoint for the winner. He threw himself into challenges as well despite being one of the smallest on the pitch.
V impressed with him today, looks to have something different to any of the other wingers we plucked from Turkey
I think he has got away with it there. They were all over us since the first goal. BUT the Huddersfield curse is strong but we were stronger today
LOL. Wife bollocked me as she had just quitened dogs down after a delivery when my loud shout of for ****'s sake set them off again. As she was calming them down my louder exclamation of yeeeeessss! started them off again and got me another round of tutting.
Welsh was good in the first half, but getting booed off at HT (not sure why?) seemed to change her, there were a number of times where our players turned them in midfield only to get pulled down, Thomas should have gone for the one on Ohio and can remember a couple on Carvahlo too, seems like she got intimidated in that 2nd half.
I thought he was playing up front, but he seems to play all over the shop, at one point he dropped back into our half to receive the ball. He seems to drift out there if Jaden comes inside, but he's not effective there, he's best when getting the ball and driving at players.
I think pinning it on Rosie is pretty harsh. Hudd have been in very good form and we contained them well. Could and should have had a second through Jaden and you could see Rosie annoyed by how deep we were sitting, and not pulling the trigger in attack. But people will blame him because it's easy. Subs were pretty spot on (other than Jacob to Rb).
Solid three points. We did not play well for most of the game though, let’s be honest. We sat back in Steve Bruce fashion for most of the second half. Greaves took both his goals well. Ömür hasn’t put a foot wrong in the time he’s played. Technically very good, gets stuck in with tackles and headers despite his size and got himself an assist. Has to start against Southampton. Zaroury was poor. Carvalho was okay but not great. Average performance from Jaden. Seems our wingers and advanced midfielders are blowing hot and cold at the moment. We can’t carry that many flair players who go anonymous for most of the game and pop up with something brilliant. We can afford to carry Philogene if he’s having an off day because his goals/assists speak for themselves, he’s our player and he does a lot of defensive work helping out his full-back. Zaroury and Carvalho have done very little to warrant a place in the starting XI right now. Sharp is past it. No way he should be starting games. Ohio or Connolly have to start. Ohio can improve his first touch; Sharp can’t be 10 years younger.
