Was listening to talksport and heard someone saying a lot of fans are upset with how you are playing despite the ridiculous goal ratio and top of the league. I assume he is in the minority but what are your thoughts. From what I saw against us you looked great.
You'll always have a few numpties ... some are uncomfortable with the quantum of passing and the playing it out from the back ... we weren't possession based when we won the Prem and some fans want to see something similar ... but the more knowledgeable accept that it's a matter of playing to your strengths... and currently our strength is keeping it until we can burst forward with pace and purpose - two great to watch wingers and good finishers up top ... we'll need to strengthen at the back to survive in the Prem ... but the fare currently on offer is great entertainment and we have some very gifted youngsters that give lots of cause for optimism ... Great result for you guys tonight btw
Soooo… - Plymouth v Leeds the early kick off. Plymouth are pretty good at home, but think Leeds will be too strong for them, but if they take them lightly there could be an upset. Most likely Leeds will jump back into 2nd though. - Leicester v Middlesbrough. Leicester are just too consistent to see anything but another win for them, but they’re so far ahead it doesn’t really matter anyway. - Swansea v Ipswich. Swansea can play some good stuff at home, but ultimately Ipswich should prove too strong and I think they’ll maintain the chase in this one. Strong January window was massive for them. Just goes to show what a big win last night was for us! Added interest: - Huddersfield v Hull. Hope the terriers show the same tenacity and aggression they did against us and give Hull, our opponents on Tuesday night a tough game.
I've said all season that they have the best attack in the division. And now that Gnonto is up and firing, it's one of the best attacks this league has ever seen. I would take Leeds' attacking options ahead of those of a number of PL clubs. If we hold off Leeds for automatic promotion, it would be a sensational achievement. I'm not convinced that we will.
Yeah I’ve always said they would be 2nd behind Leicester as they are a level above us, I also think the fact Farke and a couple of their players have done it before will help them tremendously. If we finish above them they have ****ed up massively
Do we have to be fair to them. A timely lightning strike that temporarily knocks out half their team for say….6 weeks…seems fair to me.
That’s not kind. Maybe the whole team for 6 weeks. Not really fair to make anyone miss out. Team spirit etc.
Bloody Leeds. The pressure is really on them as we have a game in hand, but every time they leapfrog us it feels like it’s all on us.
