I've absolutely absolutely no idea what that means tbh ...

... more likely they're not winning because people are fed up paying more and getting less for their money.

Three of the women in my family, my wife, DiL, and granddaughter all said they wouldn't vote Tory because of who was in the background, possible pulling the strings.

The whole point of democracy is the ability of the electorate to remove a government they are not happy with. We are seeing the wheels of democracy finally turning, as people start to realise what a bunch of lying, self serving millionaires are doing to the economy and public services.

It always has the feel with the tories that there are factions and cliques working with influence. They are even more noticeable now as they give themselves names.

The 1922 committee has always interested me as a force behind the scenes. They are very much kingmaker now. It is an interesting approach to leadership choice when you break it down. Labour have the PLP but that allows for no power base away from the leader. Might make for a more cohesive looking govt next time around. Mind you their electoral college approach to leadership selection is not my cup of tea.

Robin Hood in reverse, taking from the less well off, too give to the better off.

I hope she gets to be PM one day.

Politics aside, she would’ve made a fine PM. The Tories know this, which is why they’ve blocked her at every turn.

Under Cameron, she gave each job her best, and her best went a long way. As far as I know she was the first woman to represent the armed forces in government and they had nothing but good things to say about her.

Theresa May was a bit wary of her, demoted her back to square one and she rose to Secretary of State for Defence through her own graft.

Naturally, when Boris took over he sidelined her as soon as he could, having anyone with integrity and a no bullshit approach was like kryptonite to him.

When he left, she tried to get his job but the crooks had taken over by then. Her initial polling was strong, then a campaign to put her down and raise Liz Truss turned up in the right wing press. If Mordaunt had won, the UK would be £30bn richer.

Naturally when the lettuce won, she apponted Penny Leader of the House of Commons to keep her out the limelight. Again, she gave it 100% even going through weight training to carry that giant sword at the coronation.

Once again she campaigned to be PM, once again they froze her out. The fact she couldn’t even get the signatures to stand shows she pisses off the right people.

She’s class. If only she’d joined Labour :emoticon-0115-inlov

Above all, she has a conscience ... something Boris Johnson avoids like the plague.

He'd blame his Mam if there was no one left to carry the can.

He'll go down in history as the worst PM in history, Truss wasn't there long enough to cause the damage he did.

Agreed, and the worst thing for me is that it seems he did it all to become more famous on the world stage. And money.

The lowering of moral and ethical standards under BJ paved the way for the extreme right wing putting in a shill who would promote their interests. Unfortunately for them, she was thick as two short planks.

I said, from the start, he wanted the job but never wanted to actually do the job.

Some people said he was just acting the idiot deliberately ...

... I doubt there was much acting ability involved.

“ And money “ is that not the reason most of them do it?
It’s on this morning’s news, Starmer only paid £100,000 last year in tax, only <doh> and he’s doing everything for our benefit <laugh><laugh>

Starmer is just a Tory wearing red anyway, mate. Doesn’t know what he’s doing, comes from a privileged background, talked about cutting taxes and supports Israel.

I’m happy to vote for him <laugh>

Exactly marra, plenty in the Labour Party “fighting the working class cause” but in reality they just jump on that gravy train and couldn’t give a fcuk, like the supposedly working class lass Angela Rayner who’s in the top 3% for second income ffs
