Anderson, Target, Isak and Willock all on the way back will make a huge difference to the squad as a whole: XI: Dubravka, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Livarmento, Longstaff, Bruno, Willock, Barnes, Isak, Gordon Sub: Karius, Krafth, Lascelles, Burn, Targett, Anderson, Miley, Murphy, Almiron Res: Gillespie, Dummett, Hall, Ritchie Unavailable (+) Pope*, Joelinton*, Tonali*, Wilson* Makes a big difference in terms of the game changing subs and being able to rest players.
It won't make any difference if Howe keeps looking after his mate at left back. Surely he drops Burn soon?.. he's literally dreadful and has been getting rinsed.
We can hope. I mean Burn must know it's coming, you can't keep being the cause of the majority of goals over the course of a few weeks and not half expect to be dropped. Think Howe is using up a lot of his credit with the fan base not making a simple call. If we lose 1-0 tomorrow and Burn is at fault again people will be calling for Howe's head and you couldn't really argue with it as everyone and their blind dog can see Tino should be starting ahead of him on recent performances.
I think I've seen this post before. They were all injured again a week later. Buncha ****in sick notes.
Had a theory from Mercenary Owen’s time with us that if when injured a footballer received only Statutory Sick Pay instead of their wage then nobody would ever be out due to injuries. Still applies for some.
Ah, so it IS Howe injuring players on purpose, to save the club some money. The guy is an absolute genius. Can't believe some are so short sighted.
