The two sides fought out a thrilling Cup tie just twelve days previously, but it seems Plymouth are now regretting going toe to toe with the West Yorkshire giants. According to the head Pilgrim, his side are struggling both physically and mentally due to the size of his squad, and it hasn't helped the Plymouth cause that Leeds have had an extra 24 hours to prepare; with Foster claiming 'Leeds will be rubbing their hands'. please log in to view this image Daniel Farke is unlikely to risk Patrick Bamford. The 30yo was a late withdrawal from the side that ripped Swansea City apart midweek. He has a muscular issue which will probably keep him out of the side for several weeks. Sam Byram (hamstring), Stuart Dallas (leg), Pascal Struijk (groin strain), and Karl Darlow (dislocated thumb) are all ruled out, whilst Jamie Shackleton could return to action. The 24yo missed the trip to Swansea, as his partner was giving birth to their first child. Plymouth will be without Darko Gyabi (cannot play against his parent club), Keeper Mike Cooper (long term knee injury), forward Mustapha Bundu (calf) whilst former Leeds midfielder Adam Forshaw is struggling with a knee injury!
Plymouth were excellent against Coventry last night and only a scambled last second equaliser robbed them of a well deserved victory. Total bollocks from their manager as they're playing well and will fancy their chances after twice holding us to draws in the FA Cup.
Totally bored and fed up with managers moaning about 1 days extra rest, too much travel, etc. Just man up and get on with it.
Could do with losing one shortly. Some of us getting bored or threatening to drop off forum altogether with nothing to moan about
Not got an extra days rest, got an extra days traveling.Think I would prefer the day less to prepare to traveling from Leeds to Plymouth.
Yep Plymouth have had 2 home games this week whereas we're been travelling to the far end of both England & Wales. As I said earlier their manager is talking bollocks
The dedicated fans have been travelling. The pampered staff have been flying. An hour on a plane can hardly be called hardship
Thought West Brom had their chances last night just Southampton took their chances and they didn't. Defo still hope there. As on today if we play to our ability we will win unless a red is issued someone on our side. Ok no 2 games are the same but we played these 3 times so far this season and we have battered them every time so no excuse really. the key is to be clinical we don't have extra time today to finish a game we should win. I'd be disappointed if we don't win if we finish with 11 men on the pitch.
