Plus on the not signing Ben White after his loan, of course it would have been difficult to prise him away from Brighton but I'm pretty sure if we'd put enough money on the table it would have happened. That turned out to be a false economy as we could have either still had Ben as a player or have made profit selling to a top 4 club. Llorente & Koch were signed instead and now there's no (or very little) return on that £30M spent.
Seems we're still waiting further updates about Bamford's injury. So far all we know is it's a knee problem and he didn't think it was too bad when pulling out 10/15 mins before KO the other night. A fit Bamford is imperative to our promotion chances.
It can’t be that bad otherwise he would’ve had immediate treatment for the injury instead of sitting pitch side looking at his phone.
