was checking out mansfields 9-2 victory over harrogate and i see stephen quinn at 38 is a regular starter for mansfield another promotion under his belt incoming
so a ref sent a fleetwood player off with a second yellow but it was the wrong player, but the efl have decided to back the ref and the player who got wrongly sent off is suspended for a game
There was a load of players piling in and the ref carded one on each team, Fleetwood just claimed another of their players was more responsible than the one carded, in the hope that it would get the red overturned.

Everyone moaned on the weekend that Sunderland came back to win and why couldn't we, and now the tables have flipped. Almost as if it's a tough league to be consistent in!
Ipswich3-0 up with 66% of the possession but only 5 shots to Millwall’s 12 and only 2 on target compared to Millwall’s 4. Don’t you love stats? Absolutely meaningless. I can’t see anyone below Bristol City making a run for the play offs, so if we keep up current form or thereabouts, that’s a top half finish, which will be above most people’s pre season expectations.
Yeah mentioned on the pod yesterday (or might have been when chatting to Mike post-show) there seems to be two distinct tables now, the relegation scrap (although QPR losing to Stoke this morning elongates that a bit) and the promotion chasers. Though as you say, 11-14 seems to be becoming no man's land.
Yeah, my sister in law is a Boro pass holder, We seemed to be less than 3 -4 points ahead of them for a couple of months upto a few games ago. Before every game, I’d get a text saying if they won x-0 and we lost, they’d be in the playoff position, or to make sure we draw. Despite our slump, we have stayed above them. Tbh I didn’t gloat as I thought it’d be a matter of time. They seem to have properly dropped off now, so it’s gone quiet! Watford have had a proper slump, though I suspect they could be just on a bad run and will bounce back.
