Ohio did what Sharp was brought in to do. Get into the box and finish it first time. He’s earned a start against Huddersfield.
Hats off to the travelling fans this evening. Even after going 1-0 down you could hear them loud and proud. Think they deserve the credit as the 12th man.
Sharp was brought into do that in the last 20 mins or so, not to start and be the focal point for 70 mins.
I was down at half time. But the lads weren’t and they and LR turned it around and some. Sorry I lost my faith there for a bit. I just ****ing love the club and I just need to calm down. Well done lads well done
It does look like it takes a deflection and if so, I’m more inclined to think it was a cross aimed towards the six-yard box. Still though, to even attempt it when we’re 1-0 down in a scrappy Championship midweek feature shows his confidence, class and ability. His back heel against Rotherham at the MKM was just as audacious. Impudent flair players are a dying breed in the sport these days. It’s all about ball-retention now so when a player who plays like he’s a kid having a kick about with his mates, it’s a joy to watch. Other than Neymar and Vini Jr, there’s not many about at the highest level these last few years. I’m convinced Philogene will go on to be a star Prem player.
He's lucky it went in, he had Ohio free to square it to. He is a brilliant player but we saw against Swansea that if he takes as many touches as he often does, sometimes it doesn't pay off. Needs to mix it up a bit more. Hit the back of the net so it was class but if it hadn't we'd have been tearing our hair out.
thats why i love him hes like a player of old, reminds me of hazard the way he dribbles, my favourite type of players they fail a lot of times, but when it comes off, its magic, the flair, the magic oooo
