It was about 12 years ago now but always remember Tadanari Lee's strike against Derby. I had the perfect view to see that fly in.
Le Tiss lob against Schmeichel was incredible. Against the best keeper and defence in the league. (I'm always amazed when he says the Blackburn away one is his favourite.) It's a toss up between that one and the Wimbledon free kick when he flicks it up. That was one of those goals that kids were trying to replicate on the playground for years after. "I'm gonna do a Le Tiss." Not many players get a type of goal named after them.
Le Tiss against Liverpool in February during Alan Ball's spell. Scored after about 15 seconds. He just drills it hard and low to beat Grobbelaar. Very satisfying.
Great shout this can be added to my list. Also would like to throw out Fernandes last minute equaliser against Everton.
Bolton in fa cup replay. I never saw a ball move so much and the way their keeper falls into the net trying to claw at it. Not to mention it was an injury time equalizer and provoked a mini pitch invasion of pure joy
I er, 'understand' that certain other websites may provide links to 'Sexiest Saints Goats', although I've never come across them. Honest. In a vain attempt to steer the conversation back on topic, how about Shane Long v Liverpool. Apart from impressive speed, it is not a thing of beauty, But then, neither is a solid gold ingot
There was oñe epic moment from 2011-12 which was a 26 passing movement that resulted in a goal for SFC. No opposing player even touched the ball!
