I'm gonna stick up for the south here. They exist because of population density. Not financial imbalance.
Just on my population density thing. They're the only football club in the London Borough of Greenwich - last census has a population of 290,000 In contrast, Sunderland has a population of 168,000 Not saying they're bigger (obviously... before people come whinging). Just that the LB of Greenwich has as much right to have a professional football club as the city of Sunderland does. Has nothing to do with the financial imbalance of the country. I hope they can get out of this mess before he causes too much damage.
Always had an eye out for Charlton results after the 4-4 play offs, both teams made history that day. Also had a good bit crack with Charlton fans after the league 1 play off. Shame to see where they are now and hopefully they can sort themselves out and survive. Methven won't stay there for long before he leeches on to something else
