Cheers 2W. Never heard of Talking Pictures, so checked it out and there are some very good old TV series in their archive list. Just a matter of checking out if I can get it here in Canada without problems. Thanks for the heads up.
It's an old gits treasure trove, I often watch it! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Don’t think you will get it. It was originally only on SKY, still is, then later on Freesat, Freeview and Virgin Media. Unless you want to get SKY.
I was Anthony Andrews accountant not that long after he’d made Danger UXB and then Brideshead Revisited. Really made a name for himself but he was also quite a bit of a dick.
If you watched Narcos and like period 70's drug cartels kung foo fighting in America then Griselda is for you.
Season 12 of Curb Your Enthusiasm dropped on Sky comedy today .Its the last one reportedly so best savour each brilliant episode. Its by far my favourite comedy series ever ,even beating Dads Army .
Watching an old series from 2002 called “ rose and maloney “ staring Sarah Lancashire and Phil Davis It’s really good, I found miss Lancashire quite attractive in those days, something a bit dirty about her and I don’t mean the great unwashed. There were Just 3 seasons between 2002 and 2005 but Well worth watch…..
Just watched the first episode of Series 1. Enjoying it. Thanks for the tip. Hadn't heard about it before.
It gets better TC, I’m half way through the second series, there’s just one down side… only 3 series!!!
I watched Saltburn last night, bits of it were alright, but I thought it was trying too hard to be weird and overall it was fairly crap.
I thought it was duff, but it did encourage me to re-read Brideshead Revisited, a much more satisfactory exercise!
Finished “ Rose and Malloney “ the only thing that has stumped me is why on earth they didn’t make more. It has everything going for it, great story lines, equally good acting, loved it from start to finish but sad there are no more…
For those old enough to remember buying vinyl LPs in the 70s from Stardisc et al and admiring the art work that went into many an LP cover then ‘Squaring the Circle’ on Netflix is a nostalgic watch.
Just watched episode 6 of Criminal Record, highly recommend. Capaldi very good, lead actress also very good (forgot her name) and the whole thing has been layered superbly.
