My 60 second assessment: Teeshan won his point by 41 lengths. The 2nd hasn’t run since and the 3rd is F54 in 3 subsequent points. No others finished. Mullins would have nabbed him if he was really good.
Hobbs&White might very well have a double at Exeter. 14.35 Lowrys Bar has done it all very nicely so far a very lightly raced 6yo. 5/4 15.35 Goshhowposh a lightly raced 7yo 5/2 (really well backed 4s into 9/4 generally) Both are bang in form and should go on the ground which is heavy.
To put some flesh on the bones of the Teeshan hype. Tom Malone who is the bloodstock agent who bought him said this on the Betfair podcast s few weeks ago.
This Teeshan is 16/1 for the Cheltenham bumper before even racing today. The stats for this race are even more lopsided in favour of Ireland than I thought. 31 runnings and only 7 UK trained winners, the last of which was Ballandy in 2016. Maybe it’s the UK’s turn.
Not with a lot of confidence but in the Grade-2, Class-1, Boyne Hurdle at Navan (14:45),maybe the Doyen gelding (Damsire: Presenting), Beacon Edge, will put his best hoof forward and run a decent race. Enough said. Jack Kennedy rides for the Gordon Elliott yard, 15/2 (Wm.Hill/Unibet) best price, on the ATR site, at time of writing. E/W preferred option

Ran a very good race to finish second to the winning favourite, who won comfortably. Beacon Edge stayed on well, and the early-doors e/w odds of 15/2 ensured a small profit.
