Dan Neil. What a player man. Everything went through him and he dragged us up by the bootstraps in the 2nd half.

I disagree, we were horribly narrow and created **** all. Second half though - superb. Beale clearly had a word or 12 at HT. I was impressed with our response and Beale deserves credit. His subs were also bang on. Happy tonight.

It’s gonna hurt when Clarke leaves. Adore the lad.

You might be right but tbf we do set up to be narrow, at the moment, and I thought we'd created quite a few free kicks in the first half. I could be wrong though, I've drank my entire quota for February today <laugh>

He didn't look too happy in the post match interview <laugh>

First 9 league games under Beale = 14 points
First 9 league games under Mowbray = 12 points
Last 9 league games under Mowbray = 8 points

Say what you want about style of play, tactics or the way he talks, Beale is getting more points.

    I was buzzing after that

    Loved the energy
    Loved the organisation
    Loved the courage

    Dan Neil Immense
Onions was just the epitome of a leader and was clinical and calm
    Jack ...what a player
    Rusyn...automatic starter for me
    Hjelde...a beast
    Ballard....solid and reliable

Well done mr Beale for glueing this together today. Applause!!

How good is Hjelde? Lad hadn't kicked a ball in anger since August and has been pretty much spotless in his first two games. Kept Whittaker very quiet.

It’s Clarke’s personality and attitude that make him excellent as well as his ability. Gets a few kicks but just gets up and goes at them again. Clarke is verging on unplayable when he’s on it, now he has learned / been coached to mix the cutting inside and going down the line more. Causes havoc either way.

Thought his distribution was a bit off at times today, but he was strong in the challenge and has settled well.
