Pretty abject all round. Ömür - nice cameo - looks more effective than Carvalho Greaves - kept on battling away Giles - had an ok game
Allsop. Rest absolute garbage, bar Omur who looked promising when he came on (not like we've ever said that before like )
Struggled to choose a third he continued to try (even if his lack of quality shows at times) kept 'trying' & then had to go in defence (which like Coyle failed to deal with their pace). Apart from Giles none of our defence has real pace
Ömür Traore Sharp Tufan narrowly misses out for at least finding himself in a position to score a goal. Everyone else was dreadful. To counter some of the other votes I've seen - Slater was shocking and Greaves was guilty of overhitting multiple passes off the back of the pitch. Giles had good moments but lost the ball with multiple poor passes straight to their players, Allsop hit too many long balls nowhere near our players or off the side of the pitch and Morton seems to be on a steady decline with us since he ducked that dodgy red card ban.
Sharp - at least troubled them occasionally Allsop - did some saves Jones - made no obvious errors Philogene was absolutely ****ing appalling. I really hope six or seven PL scouts were watching today.
Greaves Allsop for a couple of saves Sharp for at least making their keeper do something. Out thought tactically Out fought physically Tufan up front didn't work and I don't know where Carvelleo was supposed to be. Beaten by a better side who were bang average themselves.
Tufan was the only player we had that forced a save from their keeper to be fair to him. If he brings that ball down instead of heading it we probably score, but then I don't think he realised how much space and time he had... I couldn't believe it either.
